Karakatsanis ( b.1957, Greece ), who will be present at the art fair with
the gallery, has exhibited in South and North America, Europe and as far as
China. A widely acclaimed figurative artist of mixed media, with a long list of
international acquisitions of his artworks by Museums and Art Institutions. For
a first time Vassilis will be attending World Art Dubai to present his work in
the UAE. Vassilis Karakatsanis works are the result of an inquisitive mind, a
conscious exploration of his urban surroundings and personal encounters in the
contemporary society. His thoughts and observations are visually illustrated
through his recent art series called “Carpets2” and “Roma’s Urban Tools”.
