To Ολλανδικό Ινστιτούτο Αθηνών φιλοξενεί το
διεθνές φεστιβάλ σύγχρονης τέχνης Orange Water 3, παρουσιάζοντας στην αίθουσά
του εικαστική έκθεση από τις 9 Νοεμβρίου έως τις 30 Δεκεμβρίου.

Το Φεστιβάλ αποτελεί γέφυρα πολιτισμού μεταξύ
Ελλάδας και Ολλανδίας, περιλαμβάνοντας εκθέσεις ζωγραφικής, γλυπτικής,
βιντεοπροβολές και εγκαταστάσεις από διακεκριμένους Έλληνες, Ολλανδούς αλλά και
άλλων εθνικοτήτων εικαστικούς. Στην παρούσα έκθεση συμμετέχουν οι: Ad Arma, Tita Bonatsou, Eugenie Coumantaros, Truus van den Heuvel, Apostolis Zolotakis, Mohammed Quraish, Ioannis Kolios, Annita Smit, Mark Verdoes.

Orange Water 2 ), συμμετείχαν 91 εικαστικοί σε 21 σημαντικούς χώρους τέχνης και
μουσεία, τελώντας υπό την αιγίδα του Υπουργείου Πολιτισμού, του Υπουργείου
Τουρισμού και της Ολλανδικής Πρεσβείας. Το 2017, το Orange Water 3 ξεκινάει από
το SAF για να συνεχίσει το ταξίδι του στην υπόλοιπη Ελλάδα και να ολοκληρωθεί
το 2018 με δράσεις στο εξωτερικό. Φέτος, θα συμπεριλάβει και άλλες τέχνες ενώ
θα συνεργαστεί με εικαστικές πλατφόρμες όπως οι: Focus Europa (Γερμανία),
Bildrecht (Αυστρία), t-short

Η καταγωγή του ανθρώπου είναι κοινή. Όπως και
ό,τι πηγάζει από αυτήν: οι εγκεφαλικές λειτουργίες, η αντίληψη, κλπ. Σε έναν
μαγνητικό τομογράφο μπορούμε να δούμε ακριβώς ποιές δραστηριότητες και πού συμβαίνουν
στον εγκέφαλο. Αν διαβάσουμε την πρόταση «δυο γάτες περπατούν στην αυλή»,
μπορούμε να δούμε στον υπολογιστή αυτή την σκέψη να περνά από το μυαλό μας. Αν
κοιτάξουμε την εικόνα ή διαβάσουμε την πρόταση το αποτέλεσμα είναι το ίδιο
ανεξαρτήτως της γλώσσας που μιλάμε. Η αλφάβητος της ανθρώπινης
σκέψης
είναι παγκόσμια. Το μυαλό διαθέτει κοινό λεξιλόγιο. Αυτό δεν σημαίνει ότι στην
αντίληψη των δεκτών του ίδιου ερεθίσματος αποκλείονται παρεκκλίσεις. Σε αυτό
συμβάλλει η ψυχολογία του κάθε δέκτη, η γνώση του, ακόμα και η συναισθηματική
διάθεση της συγκεκριμένης στιγμής, που θα παρέμβουν για να δώσουν σε κάθε δέκτη
προσωπική χροιά στην εμπειρία. Αν αυτό συμβαίνει στον δέκτη, κάτι αντίστοιχο
συμβαίνει και στον καλλιτέχνη όταν δημιουργεί το έργο. Οι καλλιτέχνες
επιλέγουν, ο καθένας με τον δικό του τρόπο και τεχνική, να αποδώσουν την έννοια
ενός θέματος. Στην παρούσα έκθεση, αυτό το επιτυγχάνουν αποδίδοντας στην έννοια
της καταγωγής την πνευματικότητα που αιωρείται σε ένα τοπίο· συνδέοντάς την με
την μετακίνηση από μία αφετηρία προς έναν προορισμό· με την καταγωγή
συγκεκριμένων παραστάσεων μέσα από αφηρημένους γεωλογικούς σχηματισμούς· με την
ταύτισή της με το φως· με την ενέργεια και την επιστήμη στο γνωστό πείραμα του
επιταχυντή στο CERN με το σωματίδιο του Higgs· όπως και με άλλες εικαστικές
προτάσεις.

The
Netherlands Institute at Athens hosts the international Contemporary Art
Festival “Orange Water 3”. The art exhibition Reflection of Origin will
take place in its premises between the 9th November and 30th December.

Festival “Orange Water 3”. The art exhibition Reflection of Origin will
take place in its premises between the 9th November and 30th December.
The
Festival constitutes a cultural bridge between Greece and Holland with
exhibitions of painting, sculpture, video art and installations by renowned
artists from Greece, Holland and other countries. In the current exhibition the
participating artists are: Ad Arma, Tita Bonatsou, Eugenie Coumantaros,
Truus van den Heuvel,
Mohammed Quraish, Ioannis Kolios, Annita Smit, Mark Verdoes, Apostolis
Zolotakis.

The
origin of human is common. This same origin applies not only to humans but also
to their brain functions, perception and so forth. In a MRI image we can trace
the exact activities and the place they happen in the brain. If, for example,
we read the sentence «two cats walk in the yard», we can see this thought
passing in our mind. If we look at this image or we read this sentence the
result will be the same no matter which language we speak. The alphabet of
human thinking is universal. The mind has a common vocabulary. This does not
mean that there are not deviations in the way the beholders perceive the same
stimulus. This has to do with the psychological status of
