«Επειδή τίποτα δεν μπορεί να πυκνώσει και να διασταλεί προς τα εμπρός αν δεν διαθέτει τη δυνατότητα να πάει και προς τα πίσω, κάτι σαν μια ζυγαριά, φαντάζομαι ένα μέλλον να πατάει πάντα σε γενεές. Πάω πίσω λοιπόν στα βασικά του ανθρώπου.

Μέσα από το τρόπο με τον οποίο λειτουργεί η αντίληψη και επεξεργάζεται παρελθόν και παρόν, εικονικό και πραγματικό, μέσα από τις αλληλοεπικαλύψεις αισθήσεων και σχέσης με τον κόσμο, εντοπίζω ένα μέλλον στη φύση του χορευτή: στη συνεχή του συνδιαλλαγή με το μεσοδιάστημα ή κενό και στο σθένος του απέναντι στο φόβο του να μην μείνει για πάντα εδώ, στο ίδιο σημείο.»

Αυτές οι τέσσερις μορφές, αλλά και τα ενδιάμεσα κενά που αυτές δημιουργούν, συνθέτουν ένα πλέγμα, μια τεχνολογία σχέσεων.

«Πλέκουν» επίσης το παρελθόν με ότι μοιάζει για μέλλον και εικάζουν για πιθανά σημεία επαφής, σημεία επικοινωνίας σχέσεων αποσπασμένων, ετεροχρονισμένων, με απόσταση ανάμεσά τους και άλλων που συγκρούονται.

Πού; Πάνω σε εδάφη που δείχνουν ασταθή και μεταβάλλονται.

Μία εικαστική πλατφόρμα που αλλάζει κλίση με τις όποιες μετατοπίσεις των ανθρώπων, ένας ψηφιακός τόπος που οργανώνεται από φωνές τους και μία χορογραφική πρακτική που αναπτύσσεται από τις σχέσεις του Σώματός τους.

Σε τέτοια «τοπία» το holy purple κάνει εικασίες σήμερα για τη φύση του ανθρώπου, τη φύση του «χορού» του και αυτή ενός καλλιτεχνικού έργου (χορού).

Μέσα από την ιδιαιτερότητα του χορευτή και τους τρόπους με τους οποίους ο ίδιος νοεί, βιώνει, εκπαιδεύεται, παρατηρεί και κατ’ επέκταση ερευνά τον κόσμο, το holy purple μοιράζεται τρόπους επεξεργασίας ως ευκαιρίες για αναδιατάξεις και μεταμορφώσεις. Ως δυνατότητες συσχετισμένες, αλλά όχι κατευθυνόμενες για να μεθοδεύσουν γνώση.

Τον Απρίλιο 2021 η ομάδα μοιράζεται την τελική φάση προβών του έργου με σκηνική παρουσία σε έναν δημόσιο χώρο με σκοπό την κινηματογράφηση του | hiding in holy purple.

Παράλληλα συμπεριλαμβάνει μια σειρά συναντήσεων-συζητήσεων πάνω στην πλατφόρμα | turning in holy purple και ενεργοποιεί την ψηφιακή του μορφή από τις 20 έως και τις 30 Απριλίου όπου οι θεατές-χρήστες μπορούν να ενημερώνουν περεταίρω το έργο με την ηχογράφηση των δικών τους φωνών στο www.holypurple.com | gardening the holy purple.

Δεδομένων των συνθηκών, για την ώρα αδυνατούμε να προβούμε σε κοινοποίηση του τόπου και των ημερομηνιών για όλες τις μορφές του έργου. Μοιάζει κάθε μία που κοινωνείται ή διαμοιράζεται, πότε να απομακρύνεται και πότε να προσεγγίζει την έννοια της όπως την γνωρίζαμε ήδη.

Το ψηφιακό έργο αναπτύσσεται μέσα από το «διαζύγιο» ψηφιακού-φυσικού κόσμου και παρουσίας-απουσίας.

Υπαινίσσεται την ανθρώπινη ζωή μέσα από έναν κοινό τόπο φωνών που δημιουργεί.

Φωνών αποσπασμένων που ψιθυρίζουν, βγάζουν επιφωνήματα, λαχανιάζουν, αναπνέουν, κραυγάζουν και σιωπούν.

Αναζητεί οτιδήποτε το ζωντανό σε ό,τι σχετίζεται και κοινωνεί το παρελθόν του, διαμορφώνοντας κοινό τόπο με άλλους και αποτελεί μία εφαρμογή της χορογραφικής έρευνας γύρω από το πώς μπορεί ένα έργο χορού να υπάρχει στο ψηφιακό χώρο.

Ο ιστότοπος θα ανοίξει στις 20 Απριλίου και έως τις 30 Απριλίου και θα μπορεί να δέχεται ηχογραφήσεις από τους θεατές-χρήστες του ιστότοπου.

These four forms, as also the possible intervals between them, compose a grid, a technology of relations. “Braiding” the past with whatever looks like a future and guessing for possible contact areas, points of communication of fragmented, unsynchronized relations, that are in distance with each other and others that collide.

Where? Upon surfaces which seem unstable and transformative.

A platform that changes its inclination when humans displace themselves, a virtual space that is created by their own voices and one choreographic practice which is developed by the relations of their Bodies.

In these “places”, holy purple make speculations about the current nature of humans, the nature of their “dance” and hence the dance performance itself.

By the uniqueness of the dancer and the ways by which they perceive, live, train, observe and therefore research the world, holy purple shares processing methods as potentialities for rearrangements and transformations; as relational possibilities, but not directed to deliver knowledge.

In April 2021, the team shares their final phase of rehearsals in public space and in order to film the perfromance. | hiding in holy purple.

In parallel, a series of meetings-talks take place upon this platform and in public space | turning in holy purple and finally the digital form of the project is activated from the 20th till the 30th of April. During these days, visitors/users of the site may upload furtherly their own voice recordings at www.holypurple.com | gardening the holy purple.

According to the circumstances and for the time being, we are unable to share the location and the dates for all the forms of this art project. It seems that every form of it that is published or shared, either it is distancing itself or approaching the notion of form as we already know it.

The digital “performance” evolves through the “divorse” of the digital and physical world and of any presence and absence. By creating a common place of human voices, it is suggestive of human life.

The voices, detached as they are, they whisper, they allow exclamations, they punt for breath, they breath, they shout out silently and finally they fall silently.

This digital “dance performance” researches liveness through relating and through embodying its pastness while creating common spaces with others. It suggests an application of the choreographing research around the question of how a dance performance lives in the digital world.

The website will be available from the 20th till the 30th of April for visitors and users to upload their own sound recordings.
